I do not think the "whole Christ thing" was a lie. Christ consciousness is a very real thing- people who choose to live according to the difficult concepts like "love your enemy" really do exist. People DO go to their death for representing truth and preaching justice. MLK Jr. was Christ-like in that regard as was Gandhi. There are many others less known. It is the great souls who carry the light of Hope for us all. JC associated with the lowly and heaped criticism on the ruling class hypocrites. The anti- christ is the hypocrite- Bush & Chaney represent that energy!
